How long does a dishwasher installation take?

What if the waste hose will not reach the trap?
We extend or reroute the waste line so it drains correctly and cannot be pulled loose or siphoned back. Shortcuts there end in leaks and dirty water cycling through the machine.
My kitchen still has its original sink plumbing. Is that a problem?
Not at all. Older kitchens often never had isolation valves or a proper trap connection, so we fit them during the job and the machine connects up to standard.
